Most rawgers rated the game as Recommended. at least for me, Trine 3 is an alright time, but not a must play. On review aggregator Metacritic, Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen has a score of 81. All in all, I enjoyed the casual puzzle experience Trine 3 offers and I loved exploring the beautiful levels, but ultimately the game felt hollow to me, the story went over my head and there is no satisfying ending. In these gorgeous and varied worlds there are also triangles all over the place, Triangle collecting kind of became the game for me You have to collect triangles to unlock chapters, so you might as well collect them, luckily they are easy to spot and very fun to collect. There is some combat sprinkled into this game, not too much, again very puzzle heavy, but nothing all too challenging. You can play this game with local co op, and im fairly certain co op was in mind during the development of this game so I cant complain too much, however I feel like there was way too much dependency on the wizard… Clearly the wizard has the most puzzle potential, but it would’ve been nice to just give my mind a break and let me be the knight or platform with the assassin for a good while, There is a decent balance of back and forth to get through the levels, but they kind of felt a little too much like a puzzle, not enough of an adventure. Each character has their own chapter to introduce them, and they all have their own optional side chapters throughout the game You only spend 5 of the 8 chapters together as the characters, but this is plenty enough, I actually prefer the levels where im on my own.

With such a heavy emphasis on gore, the game couldve used a touch of psychological horror. It has been a while since I played the first two but I don't remember the combat being this unsatisfying in either of them. With a weak start, enjoyable middle parts and a great ending, Dead Space 3 is a game not to be missed. There's very little feedback when hitting enemies and the areas you fight in are so small and cramped with enemies that combat mechanics for the wizard and thief get hindered by the platforms. I realize Trine is more about the puzzle platforming than action, and that's how it should always be, but any time I got to a combat section, I didn't want to deal with it. The only aspect of this game I found executed rather poorly was combat. Summary: Trine 2: Complete Story is a beautiful, award-winning sidescrolling game of action, puzzles and platforming. Some might call it too streamlined but I think it totally works and made me 'want' to go back and collect stuff I missed. Generally favorable reviews based on 29 Ratings.
This is fixed with the ability to start at any of the 20 or so checkpoints you want, and you're even shown how many experience drops are remaining in range of each checkpoint so you don't have to comb back through the entire level again, the hunt is narrowed down just enough to keep it from getting tedious. Each individual level is quite long which normally would make returning to round up collectibles a complete chore. As a collectathon this is a great example of a game that respects the player's time. Sure, Trine 3 was an overly ambitious misstep, but Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a great course correction, with a back-to-basics approach that returns to the series’ 2.5D roots while adding.
